Why I built it
I run a small company, but the work is still product work. A customer to name. A FAQ to align. A small piece to ship. A review before anything goes public.
I don't have a ten-person team next to me. I have specialist bots, a few humans who hold the quality bar, and one written set of instructions they all follow.
GrokBot is Grok's AI agents chat. I built this so it can be reused from any AI tool. The bots read the same files a Cursor session would, so the team works the same in both places.
Who does what
Kiro starts every cycle with the 5 Customer Questions, then writes the FAQ. I review and align it. Then comes the PRD. If we can't name a real customer, we stop.
c3pO writes the positioning. It checks "why us" against what a real person already pays for. No launch copy until the FAQ backs it up.
kimi owns the technical design, the task list and every code review. The hard work stays with kimi. It never gets quietly passed to another bot.
bb8 owns UX and can ship frontend when the spec is clear.
r2d2 does the everyday implementation.
Boss keeps the queue in order: every task is a ticket before anyone builds, and it goes to the right bot next.
I choose what we work on, align the FAQ and the PRD, and merge. The bots propose. Confident-looking output doesn't lower the bar.
A week with the team
Work arrives as a Linear ticket with a label for the right bot. Boss wakes that bot up. The bot reads its instructions, does its part, adds the result to the ticket, and passes it to the next bot. All code goes through kimi. I merge.
It's the same order I teach: 5 questions, FAQ, PRD, tasks, then code. I wrote about how these documents become the brief for the bots in Working Backwards with agents.
That's how this site got its methods library and how RePLAN gets new features. It's slow at the start of each cycle, and much faster once the customer is clear.
